In my role as a specialist in neurology, psychiatry, and psychotherapeutic medicine, as well as a university lecturer in neurology and neuroscientist, I combine many years of clinical experience with university teaching and research activities.

My professional career combines many years of clinical experience in neurological outpatient clinics, emergency care, inpatient treatment, rehabilitation, and over ten years of private practice. I am also active in teaching and lecturing both domestically and internationally and regularly publish on topics related to neuroscience, psychiatry, and geriatrics. I received my doctorate in human medicine from the University of Graz and in neuroscience from the Charles University in Prague. I completed my residency in neurology in Johannesburg, Salzburg, and Graz. I subsequently held various academic and leading clinical positions, including: Professor of Neurology at the Medical University of Graz Lecturer at the University of Graz Medical Director of the Maria Theresia Clinic in Bad Radkersburg One focus of my research is on complex neurological and psychiatric disorders – particularly Parkinson's disease and sleep disorders – as well as the physiological effects of vitamin D.

Language skills: Because of my excellent English skills , you are welcome to speak with me in English. I speak French at a basic level; sufficient for a basic medical history and examination, but not for in-depth discussions.
