Neurological services
As a neurologist with many years of experience, I offer you a wide range of diagnostic and treatment options for neurological disorders.
Your symptoms will be treated in steps. First, I clarify your concerns (symptom or diagnosis assessment, see below). This is followed by taking your medical history, carrying out an examination and, if necessary, further diagnostics. Finally, we will discuss therapy and determine the next steps.

Clarification of the medical concern: Your main concern is usually either the clarification of diffuse symptoms (e.g. headaches) that are so bothersome that you want to know what is behind them. Or you have already received a diagnosis from another doctor (e.g. a neurologist has diagnosed a tension headache based on the localisation and nature of the pain) and would now like to know from me whether this diagnosis is correct or what needs to be done. Diagnosis: In my neurological practice, a personal consultation to carefully record the symptoms and accompanying circumstances (medical history) and a physical examination (neurological status examination) are of particular importance. In addition, I use specific functional tests and standardised assessment procedures such as the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale for Parkinson's disease or the Extended Disability Scale for multiple sclerosis. If necessary, modern instrument-based diagnostic procedures such as EEG, EMG, sonography or MRI are used, for which we have access to a reliable network of co-operation partners. Determining the therapy and procedure: Based on the examination results, we discuss the available therapy options together and tailor them to your symptoms and lifestyle. My aim is to provide the best possible treatment that not only alleviates your symptoms, but also maintains your quality of life.
